Hungry Caterpillar's Bridges
On Monday the Hungry Caterpillar's reading group read an article called "Spaghetti Connection".
This article was all about a group of kids who had to make bridges out of dried spaghetti, blu-tack and two blocks of wood for the BP Technology Challenge.
Their bridge had to support the weight of two wood blocks. Check out their bridges! (And thank you to Sally for helping!)

Fun Run Time This Friday
Your children will have brought home a notice yesterday about the Fun Run.
The Fun Run is happening this Friday (7th). The seniors and middle team children will leave school at 12:30pm to walk down to the domain. The juniors will be leaving at 1:30pm. If you are available to help with walking children to the Domain please let me know.
The children will run in the following order, starting from 1pm.
Yr 7/8 Girls, Yr 7/8 Boys, Yr 4/5/6 Girls, Yr 4/5/6 Boys.
The juniors will run in the following order, starting from 2pm.
Yr 3 Girls, Yr 3 Boys, Yr 2 Girls, Yr 2 Boys, Yr 1 Girls, Yr 1 Boys.
Children can bring a jacket along as well as a change of clothes and shoes to run in. Students can dress in house colours for this event or perhaps a New Zealand theme!
If this event needs to be postponed due to the weather the decision will be made on the day and parents will be advised through the blogs and Facebook. The postponement date is the 21st June.
