Over the last few days we have been looking at List Poems.
We started by looking at some examples of List Poems written by Kenn Nesbitt (who has a really cool website called Poetry4kids. Then we created our own poems!
We started by taking one of Kenn Nesbitt's poems called "That Explains It!" and we wrote our own version of it.

Skate Skool
Today Luke from the Skate Skool came and taught us about skateboarding and roller-blading. It was really fun! Here are some pictures of us in action - keep an eye out for more over the week as we add them.
Here are Jackson and Millie enjoying themselves...
Some of us weren't always successful...
But we got by with a little help from our friends...
And until next time check out this video of us on the day...

Big Babies Explanation
Hello!
Welcome to our blog and our first ever blog post! To kick our blog off I thought I'd put up a new interactive video we found to help us with our explanation writing. We really liked the voices and playing the game on it.
Since it's a video from the BBC Skillswise website and not our own we can't just put the video up so instead here's the link! Go check it out and let us know how you do!
